MANILA, Philippines — The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila (RCAM) has ordered churches, schools and other church-run institutions to immediately inspect their facilities for potential safety hazards, including unstable crucifixes, religious statues, hanging fixtures and electrical installations. In Circular No. 2026-101 dated Nov. 3 and released on Wednesday, Msgr. Reginald Malicdem, Vicar General and Moderator Curiae, directed parish priests, rectors, chaplains, school directors and other archdiocesan officials to check their respective facilities to ensure the safety of clergy, employees, parishioners, students and visitors.
