MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) and the Philippine Exporters Confederation Inc. (PhilExport) have welcomed the Bureau of Internal Revenue’s (BIR) plan to expand its one-time tax abatement program to small taxpayers, saying the move would help more businesses resolve outstanding tax liabilities and pending cases.
